Our Branch motto is ‘For good times and doing some good’ and we think we’ve lived up to it pretty well. We are fortunate to have a ‘home base’ at the Criterion Hotel and thank them for their great support. This year we have raised funds for the Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation and Radio Lollipop through a range of fun activities – trivia nights, bowls days, barbecues, theatre events and of course, raffles, in an obliging pub! Please contact President, Pete ‘PK’ Tate on ph 0418 752 727 or come along and join us every Wednesday night. Email address is firstname.lastname@example.org

Old Bastard members, who are all volunteers, spend tireless hours collecting, sorting and crushing cans and preparing numerous wool bale bags full of aluminium for collection and transportation to Perth. Over 23 tonnes of recyclable waste has been kept out of Carnarvon’s landfill thanks to the efforts of the Old Bastards. The Shire of Carnarvon is proud to support the Old Bastards – new members always welcome – please contact AOOB Carnarvon Secretary, Ann Arden on 9941 1757 or AOOB Carnarvon President, John Wheelock on 9941 2283.
